Constables Assigned to Protect Neha Hiremath’s Family
Hubballi: Following Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s visit, the police have extended security to Neha Hiremath’s residence, stationing two constables to ensure the safety of her parents, Niranjan Hiremath and his wife.
Reports suggest that Niranjan Hiremath sought security following Siddaramaiah’s recent visit, expressing concerns about potential threats to his family. Responding to the request, the department has sanctioned security, assigning a male and a female constable to watch over Neha’s parents.
Neha Hiremath, a first year MCA, tragically fell victim to a brutal stabbing by her former classmate Fayaz Khondunaik within the premises of BVB College. This appalling incident has ignited widespread outrage across Karnataka, prompting opposition parties to question the prevailing state of law and order.
Both the BJP and Congress have engaged in heated debates over the incident, leading senior leaders from both camps to visit Neha’s home in Bidnal. The BJP has seized upon the tragedy to critique the Congress, citing it as evidence of the party’s failure to address law and order situation.
